150th Anniversary of St. Augustine Parish

Original: The Building Committee will focus on the maintenance of the existing buildings, notably the church, school, and office. This committee has also been charged with the task of looking into the expansion of classrooms and meeting space on our grounds. Monsignor Franco pointed out how frequently our current facilities are used. One possibility for expansion would be the addition of a parish center in the back of the school, a two story building to house our Pre K3 and Pre K4 programs and perhaps add additional meeting space. The removal of Pre K4 from the parish hall opens up the possibility of expanding the current space into the existing Pre K4 room to create a larger hall. 
November 2001: This committee will interface with the other committees for the set-up and breakdown of all events.  Respond to the need for fire escapes for the upstairs meeting room in the Parish Hall; an extension or addition to present buildings as the school is at capacity; the present state of lighting on the property; the need to upgrade electrical power to the property, the Parish Hall in particular; and the need to increase the number of telephone lines to the property.
