Monsignor Franco: It is our goal that the events and parishioner participation generated by the celebration of our 150th Anniversary, will outlive the celebration and become normal parts of parish life.  This will be our gift to future generations.
We have a section for each committee at this website.  Committee heads may send anything they wish posted to me.  Word or Note Pad files are best, or just include it in your email.

John Lawton has booked the University of Notre Dame Men’s Glee Club for Sunday, March 9, 2003 in the church.  The event will begin around 7 pm and will conclude with a reception.  Families are needed to host the men for an overnight stay.  A small admission fee will pay for the reception.  The concert fee has been taken care of.

Monsignor Franco wants the Public Relations Committee to publicize his advent series in the church bulletin, surrounding parish bulletins and local newspapers.  Topics will include Bishop Sheen and Dorothy Day.

The Cultural Committee reports that the focus of the lecture on January 12, 2003 by Fr. Tierney has been changed to “Adolescence:  Our Hope and Our Future”.  This lecture will be geared toward youth, but is open to all.  They also informed us that the video taping series on the history of our church is nearing an end.  A first cut should be ready be January 1st.  All equipment has been loaned by Jeff Cadge for this project.

Artie Ragone stated that work continues on the plans for expansion of the parish hall.  He is working in conjunction with Circosta Construction.

A memorial service will be held for Willis Messiah on December 8th in the Church.  A musical program will begin at 4 pm with all donations going to the 150th Anniversary Celebration.

The next meeting of the 150th Anniversary Committee will be held on January 21, 2003.
