| Directions:
From West over Tappan Zee Bridge
Because of construction east of the bridge it is advisable to take
the scenic route; A 10 minute longer ride.
Over bridge follow signs
for I-287, the Cross Westchester Expressway. Follow signs for the
Saw Mill River Parkway north. Take the Saw Mill River Parkway
north exit 26, the Taconic State Parkway.
You will take the Taconic State Parkway only 2 exits to the
"Route 9A, Route 100 North". Follow Route 9A only.
After the third traffic light on 9A (which is at Rt. 134) you will take
the 3rd right hand exit, Shady Lane Road, Route 9. You exit right:
Shady Lane Road, Route 9 (south).
At the end of the exit ramp make a left.
At the stop sign make a left.
Follow the road to the
traffic light, which is Route 9. Cross Route 9 into Eagle Park,
bear right to St. Augustine Church.
Scenic:
East bound. Take the
very first exit after the Tappan Zee Bridge toll: Route 9 North.
Follow Route 9 North through Tarrytown, Sleepy Hollow and
Ossining (about a 20 to 25 minute drive).
After you pass through the downtown area (you will pass the High
School campus on your right, as well as a number of churches on both
sides of the street), you go down into a small valley, then climb back
up. At the top of this hill is a traffic light (you will see
Cablevision on your right). You
will then pass through a strip of gas stations and other businesses,
after this is a wooded area that will lead to another traffic light. Before the traffic light take the right into a jug handle so
that you may cross the road into the drive that bears right into Eagle
Park.
From the West over the Washington
Bridge
On the New York side of the bridge follow signs for Henry Hudson
Parkway, Route 9A North. Follow
the Henry Hudson Parkway north into Westchester county, where it changes
names to the Saw Mill River Parkway.
Take the Saw Mill River Parkway north exit 26, the Taconic State
Parkway. You will take the
Taconic State Parkway only 2 exits to the "Route 9A, Route 100
North". Follow Route 9A only.
After the third traffic light on 9A (which is at Rt. 134) you will take
the 3rd right hand exit, Ossining, Route 9. You exit right: Ossining, Route 9 (south).
At the end of the exit ramp make a left.
At the stop sign make a left. Follow the road to the
traffic light, which is Route 9. Cross Route 9 into Eagle Park,
bear right to St. Augustine Church.
From the East (Connecticut
& Eastern Westchester)
Interstate
287, the Cross Westchester Expressway east to exit for Sprain Brook
Parkway North. Take the 5th or 6th exit "Route 9A, Route 100
North".
Follow Route 9A only.
After the third traffic light on 9A (which is at Rt. 134) you will take
the 3rd right hand exit, Shady Lane Road, Route 9. You exit right:
Shady Lane Road, Route 9 (south).
At the end of the exit ramp make a left.
At the stop sign make a left. Follow the road to the
traffic light, which is Route 9. Cross Route 9 into Eagle Park,
bear right to St. Augustine Church.
From Long Island
Take any Long
Island bridge. Follow a north bound roadway (Hutchinson River
Parkway, Major Deegan Expressway, Bronx River Parkway, etc.) To
the Cross County Parkway:
Hutchinson
River Parkway to the Cross County Parkway West. Cross County Parkway to Bronx River Parkway
north.
Major Deegan
Expressway to the Cross County Parkway East. Cross County Parkway to Bronx River Parkway
north.
Bronx River
Parkway DO NOT exit for Cross County Parkway.
Follow the Bronx River Parkway to the fork,
take the left fork for Sprain Brook Parkway north.
Your exit is the 5th or 6th exit north of I-287

North". Follow Route 9A only.

Take the West Side
Highway into the Henry Hudson Parkway, Route 9A North (same roadway,
this is a name change only).

From the North on the East of the Hudson
River
Take the Taconic State Parkway south to
exit: Ossining, Route 134 West. Right on Route 134 (West bound) to
Route 9A.
Right on Route 9A (north) to the 3rd right hand
exit, Ossining, Route 9. This is more of a fork than an exit.
The left fork is Route 9 north, Croton on Hudson. You exit
right: Shady Lane Road, Route 9 (south).
At the end of the exit ramp make a left.
At the stop sign make a left. Follow the road to the
traffic light, which is Route 9. Cross Route 9 into Eagle Park,
bear right to St. Augustine Church. |
